This privacy policy applies to: www.partneritsm.com (“Site”) This privacy policy describes how Partner IT collects and uses the personal information you provide on our Sites and Platforms as well as the human resources data transferred to us for processing on behalf of our customers, and it also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your personal information and how you can access and update this information. By using the Sites and Platforms, you acknowledge that you have reviewed, and agree to, the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, do not use this Site.

Your privacy is important to us. When you provide information to us via Sites and Platforms, Partner IT protects it according to this policy.

Partner IT operates in the business-to-business (B2B) industry. Unlike many companies and websites, Partner IT does not focus on consumer users or the collection of consumer data. To the extent Partner IT collects information online, our purpose is to better serve our business customers.

Partner IT is responsible for managing any personal data it receives, under governing frameworks and subsequently does not transfer to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. Partner IT complies with its Privacy Principles as stated in our governance rules.

With respect to personal data received or transferred Partner IT business model does not manage, manipulate or transfer data of its clients or other parties through its platforms.

The Information Partner IT Collects

Partner IT may collect all of the following types of information when you browse our Sites and Platforms:

  • Information you provide directly, such as your name, company name, phone number, email address or ordering information when you register or make an online order or e-mail messages you send us.
  • Partner IT sponsored training, event, user group, or conference, and when submitting support requests.
  • The webpages your Internet browser visits when browsing Partner IT Technologies’ websites.
  • Click-through information related to Partner IT marketing activities.
  • Aggregate data, such as the number of hits per week or per webpage.
  • We may also obtain information about you from other sources, including publicly available databases or third parties from whom we have purchased data such as information posted in your LinkedIn profile, and combine this data with information we already have about you. This helps us to update, expand and analyze our records, identify new customers, and provide products and services that may be of interest to you.

The Way Partner IT Uses Information

Partner IT does not rent or sell your information. Partner IT uses information collected online in the following ways:

  • For information you provide directly, such as support requests, ordering information or e-mail messages, Partner IT uses the information to respond to your orders and requests.
  • For information you provide online, including actions or clicks from hyperlinks and subscriptions, Partner IT uses the information to customize future communications and webpages in accordance with communication preferences you have established with us.
  • For some registrations, personal information you provide such as email addresses and use data may direct you to particular webpages, customize the webpages you see, or otherwise increase the relevance of the information you receive.
  • For personal information submitted online for scheduling training or registering to attend a Partner IT sponsored conference or event, we may use and disseminate this information internally and among our affiliates to communicate with You and to facilitate your registration and participation to the extent necessary to provide these services only.
  • For information about webpages visited, page hits per week, and the like, Partner IT uses this information internally to improve the design of our webpages.

Access And Retention Of Data Controlled By Our Clients

Partner IT acknowledges that you have the right to access your personal information. Partner IT has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to the Partner IT Technologies’ Client, who is the data controller. If requested to remove data Partner IT will respond within 30 days. Partner IT will retain personal data that we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Clients. Partner IT will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When Partner IT Shares Your Information

Partner IT will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy policy. Partner IT does not sell your personal information to third parties.

Partner IT shares your information for business purposes only on a need-to-know basis and only with: (a) its own employees and affiliates; (b) the Client from which Partner IT received the information; (c) Partner IT subcontractors and consultants that have agreed to safeguard such information in a like manner to the way that Partner IT safeguards such information and that have signed confidentiality agreements with us; and (d) other entities authorized to have access to such information under applicable law or regulation. Partner IT does not share non-public individually identifiable information with third party marketers.

Partner IT may disclose your information to protect our rights or property, protect your safety or the safety of others, to enforce our terms of use and legal notices, as required or permitted by law, or at the request of government regulators or other law enforcement officials and the courts (including the issuance of a valid subpoena), bankruptcy proceedings, or similar legal process.

Partner IT shall have no duty to notify you of such compliance with the law.

If Partner IT is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via prominent notice on our Platforms of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

Partner IT will not use or share your information in ways unrelated to those described above without first notifying you and offering you a choice as to whether or not Partner IT may use your data in this different manner.

Our Commitment To Data Integrity And Security

Partner IT processes your information only in ways compatible with the purpose for which it was collected. To the extent necessary for such purposes, Partner IT takes reasonable steps to make sure that your information is accurate, complete current and otherwise reliable with regard to its intended use. However, Partner IT expects you will update your personal information with Partner IT as necessary.

Upon request Partner IT will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, amend, or delete it by making the change on our member information page, by emailing privacy@partneritsm.com or by contacting us by telephone at 888-380-8899.

Partner IT will respond to your request to access within 30 days.

Partner IT will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the requested services. Partner IT will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you wish to subscribe to our newsletters, Partner IT will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, you may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these emails, accessing the email preferences in your account settings page or you can contact us at privacy@partneritsm.com.

Partner IT takes reasonable and appropriate measures to maintain the confidentiality and integrity, and prevent the unauthorized use or disclosure, of your information and the information processed on our Platforms. This includes maintaining a system of appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards to secure such information.

Tracking Technologies

Tracking Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags, scripts and other similar are used by Partner IT and our partners, affiliates, or analytics or service providers. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

Partner IT uses both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. We use session cookies to remember a login instance. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. Persistent cookies help save user preferences. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” directory. If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some areas of our site, such as, logging in will be limited.

How Partner IT Enforces Our Privacy Policy

Partner IT will periodically verify our compliance with the principles contained in this privacy policy. Interested persons are encouraged to raise any concerns with us using the contact information below. Partner IT will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and disputes regarding use and disclosure of your information. In the event that Partner IT cannot satisfactorily resolve a complaint through our internal processes, the complaint may be referred to our U.S.-based third party dispute resolution provider.

Partner IT will cooperate fully with the Federal Trade Commission on behalf of U.S. residents and the Data Protection Authorities of any European Union nation on behalf of its residents. In the event that Partner IT or such authorities determine that Partner IT did not comply with the principles contained in the privacy policy, Partner IT will take appropriate steps to address any adverse effects and to promote future compliance.
